This exhibition is a unique platform where Russian and Uzbek companies present their latest developments in the following areas: energy, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, aviation and railway transport, oil and gas industry, chemical industry, architecture, agriculture and food industry, medicine and pharmaceuticals, banking, information technology, telecommunications, education and science. Also, the following conferences took place within the business program of the exhibition: "Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in the sphere of "digital economy"’, business matchmaking meetings, specialized round tables on the main branches of Russian-Uzbek collaboration that were attended by a great number of Central Asia business communities’ participants.
This year special attention during the exhibition was paid to education issues. On April 28, 2021, a round table discussion “Education in Russia. The main trends in personnel training for the economy of Uzbekistan” was held and attracted a lot of participants from both countries. The online meeting was attended by the heads of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Vocational Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of other specialized departments, as well as representatives of Russian and Uzbek educational organizations.
The program of the meeting included presentations of universities and secondary vocational institutions that were interested in recruiting foreign applicants from the Republic of Uzbekistan. The participants of the round table discussion answered relevant questions related to receiving higher education in Russia by citizens of Uzbekistan and talked about the issues of Uzbek students’ studies in Russian universities.
During the round table online meeting, acting head of the international education and cooperation department, Ms. Galina Kruchinina, presented Minin University and told Uzbek colleagues and applicants about the most popular majors offered by the university, the specifics of admission and training, students life, etc.
Participation in the 4th International Industrial Exhibition EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2021 ONLINE will contribute to the development of cooperation between Minin University and partner universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and attract foreign applicants interested in Russian higher education.
