Goal of creating laboratory:

  • To create scientific and educational laboratory of up-to-the-state level;
  • To form understanding on the application of results of fundamental Sciences in various fields of human activities.

Objectives:

1. To organize of repair works in training lab305.

2. To purchasing organization of laboratory equipment and office equipment for the laboratory.

3. To perform Installation, mounting and commissioning of the equipment.

4. To show the relevance of cell technologies for the industrial production of economically important products of origin, to create genetically modified forms of plants, recovery and  clonal propagation of new varieties and planting material..

5. To give an idea about the use of cell cultures for modeling metabolic processes in the whole plant..

6. To develop skills in experimental and practical work in the cultivation of cells, tissues of plants on artificial nutrient media.

Profile 1.  Fundamentals of beekeeping and processing of bee product

Results:

-          Work out of course Fundamentals of beekeeping”  within the framework of  extended education  in Minin University

-           Technology of processing and use of bee products in personal part-time farm; prospects for the use of bee products to maintain a healthy lifestyle, (pollen, bee bread, zabrus, propolis, Royal jelly, bee venom).

Profile 2.  Development of technologies for the use of micronutrients in crop production and animal farming

Results:

-                         Determination of the percentage ratios of trace elements that are made under various types of agricultural crops

-                         Development of methods of using micro - and macroelements in plant when grown with different crops

-                         Technology for manufacturing and testing of various forms of complex fertilizers in crop production

-                         Development of technology of presowing treatment of seeds of various agricultural crops.

Profile 3.  Agricultural biotechnology: micro-propagation

Results:

-                 Introducing the students of the profile "Biology and chemistry" into the latest technologies based on advances in genetic and cell engineering

-                   Explore the use of cell cultures for modelling metabolic processes of plants

-                  Development students’ skills of experimental and practical work in the cultivation of cells, tissues of plants on artificial nutrient media.

Profile 4.  Food biotechnology: the use of microbial technologies in the production of traditional food products

Results:

-          Workoutofcourse “Microbial technology for a healthy diet” within the framework of  extended education  in Minin University

-        Enzymatic technology for processing and utilization of rosebay on personal farms and prospects for the use to maintain a healthy lifestyle

-             Implementation in the educational process fundamentals of the technology of preparation of sour-milk products, homemade table wine.
