Students of the Minin university have just come back from an unforgettable journey to China to Autumn school of language and culture. Students got lots of impressions and emotions. The delegation consisted of students from Humanities, Psychology, Social-technical, Physical education, Design and Biology departments accompanied by the professor of the Chinese language from the Department of foreign professional communication Tatiana Charchoglyan.
Guanchzhou (PRC) - Under the auspices of Russian-Chinese intergovernmental commission of humanitarian cooperation the Seminar called “A dialogue between China and Russia on educational strategies: the modernization of education in prospect of 2030” was held. This event became a starting point of realization of the cooperative research project of Chinese national Institute in the field of education and National Research University “Higher School of Economics” of Russia.
September 13th - September 15th, 2017 - the VII All-Russian Forum of the Association of Foreign Students (AIS) of Russia was held in the city of Kursk on the basis of the Southwest State University (SWSU), whith Minin University taking part.
Evgenia Ryzhkova and Ekaterina Taschilina, 3rd year students of Humanities Faculty, have studied the Polish language, literature and culture for a month at the Summer school of Silezsky University in city of Katovitz. Free of charge studying at this school was a result of the Polish representatives' invitation within the Polish Republic Senate grant.
Summer school for students and postgraduate students from Poland and Czech Republic "Bridge over the Volga" was given a start on August, 14. Students will have two weeks of Russian classes and sightseeing.

On March 1, 2017 the festival of world's nations was held at the faculty of management and socio-technical services. The championship was held in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 9 to 11 December. This kind of competition among students was held for the first time, before that only World Cups for students used to be organized.
